Really. It worked, but you can't live like that :) and who wants to test their urine? Really. <BR/>So now I know it's cutting back and exercising. It's actually a Biblical based diet. I remember you were suppose to eat a plain baked potato for breakfast. I don't even remember if it worked for me. It was aweful. Raw lemon juice, maple syrup and water. Too bad I didnt read the date on the book to see it was from the early 70's or I might not have been so eager to try it. Talk about wanting normal food. I only wish that I could find something that works, I liked Atkins, but missed pasta and fruit. I took diet pills and gained weight, and now have just been watching what I eat, and working out. So far not much has been lost. Only less that 5 pounds, but I guess its a start. I would never recommend anyone trying the lemonade diet. Directions said to drink 2 Tablespoons of apple cider vinegar and eat two servings of fruit per meal. I decided that since 2 tablespoons was good, a 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar would be even better. My husband only did the first two weeks with me. I didn't lose but a pound or two and my husband lost 10 (which was all he needed to lose).
