You Spin Me Right Round

Continuing my effort to lose weight (can't believe I am staying with it) on Monday I tried my first spin class. I must admit that I have been avoiding spin class for years. My friends have always talked about how great it was, but something about it scared me.

Well talk about feeling dumb. I loved it and it's a GREAT cardio workout and best of all? The time flies by.  Here's a quick video I found that gives an overview of spinning. I will def. be doing this again, and again, and again.

that looks like a really great way to work out! Does it take a special kind of stationary bike or will any kind do?

It is a special bike with a knob that allows you to increase and decrease resistance as you ride. It's an amazing workout. going to do it again Thursday morning before work!

What gym do you go to? I joined Urban Active 2 weeks ago and (so far), I have been doing good! I have more to lose than you do, but have pictures around to remind me that not that awful long ago, I was 120 and I can get there again!

I would love to do the spinning, but man...I have to get in better shape first!

Spinning...the last frontier. It's the only thing I haven't tried yet. I've heard it was really tough, even for a seasoned veteran ?? Anxious to try it. Good post.
